  • Bob founded AEC in 1982, using a lifetime of 'hands-on' construction experience combined with practical experience as part of an international recruiting firm.  As of June 2022, Bob has taken on the role of President Emeritus and has turned over the day-to-day operation of the company to Karin.

  • Karin started her professional career in the Real Estate & Construction division of a major international company, transitioning into the not-for-profit sector where she focused on recruiting.  Her desire to work with WBE's and women looking to break the "concrete ceiling", together with her technological savvy, have added a new dimension to AEC National Recruiters. As of June 2022, Karin is now the President of AEC National Recruiters.  Karin is a proud member of the National Association of Women in Construction; Professional Women in Construction (NY), Pennsylvania Women Leaders and the International Society of Female Professionals and a Lifetime Member of Girl Scouts of the USA.


  • AMY DEKERIS: VP/Branch Manager of the Long Island Division.  Amy is the former Director of Project Management at JASCO Industries and has extensive PM experience in the industry.  She also runs her own Interior Design/Construction Management company.  We are excited to add this new dynamic personality to our team.

  • JIM FRANCIS MIRABILE:  Controller. Jim will be handling AR/AP for AEC National Recruiters.  He can be reached directly at 844-797-JOBS x 2

Serving the architectural, engineering, and construction industries of the New York metropolitan area has been our privilege since 1981.  

In addition to the NY Metro area, AEC has expanded our footprint to include: Florida, California, Texas, Michigan, Massachusetts & Pennsylvania.

Since 1981, we have been working side by side with our client companies both as construction managers and as recruiters for their staffing needs.


We tirelessly comb our databases to pinpoint the qualities and experience exhibited in prime candidates.  We use this method to recommend candidates that are going to exceed the expectations of our clients.
